NO PICTURE!

Please do not be expecting a professional picture of the boy in his tball uniform. He put on the uniform, talked big, told me what to order (he wanted me to have a button with him on it), and then could not go and get in front of the camera. Oh well...we will have to take some pics of him on our own...we will save money that way I guess. He did warm up to his team by the end of the day and he even posed for a picture with the entire league. Crazy boy.

Today is the Day...

Will Michael pose for his tee-ball picture? That is the big question on my mind right now. I will get back to you all and let you know.

Ponderings from Bethany

Let me paint a scene for you...you wake up (that's a good start, eh?), the person you love is next to you, the sun is shining in, a good song is on the radio, the kids are super happy and sweet, you make and drink a good cup of coffee, and life just feels awesome. That was today. I want to live to be old, I mean old and healthy, not old and relying on people. I have heard it said that these are temporary bodies, but really it is so important that we take care of them, and I don't just mean the foods that we eat. We need to forgive and forget, let things roll, exercise, pray, and love people. These are just a few thoughts...all a result of a good morning.

Bad Sister

So I called my little bro on the way to work yesterday, which I maybe do a couple times a month. We talked for a while and then said good-bye. I get into my class at school and notice it is April 24th...his birthday. I wonder how I can get out of that one...I realize I can't so I call and leave him a message apologizing. We talked later and he of course understood, but I felt bad. He told me his plans for the night, something about going to a biker bar...just kidding Big Mike. Anyhow, I hope they had a great time. Both of my brothers will be coming out to VT soon, at different times, so that is super nice for me. The family can not wait to see everyone. We just had visitors from Nova Scotia, Jeff's college friend Andrew and his family. It was so nice to see them, Michael and Jaye loved Andrew's kiddos Ella and Elias. Having company is truly a wonderful thing.

Tee Ball Kickoff Parade...April 28th

Is that Michael Fuller, the famous Oriole? Okay, for real...does anyone have any suggestions how to cure a super shy kid? Bribery? Force? Time? I am open for anything.

Here today...gone tomorrow!

Sunday the snow started to fly. By Sunday night...we had enough to pull the kids down the road in their sled. It was a good time, considering it was the 15th of April and the ground was covered with snow. When we got back to the yard Jaye tried to make a snow angel. She is a little snow angel. Anyhow, if Jaye were to lay in that exact same spot right now, she would be laying on greenish grass. I am just glad the white stuff is gone and is not in the forecast.

Remember this...

Who wouldn't snap a few pictures if their spouse was stuck in a child size life vest?

When is too many...too many?

This is not even half of them. My husband is addicted to consignment shops. Now granted, he has received some GREAT deals on nice shirts, but come on. He scored big at one shop, and I thought it would please him enough to stop. Just about everyday (without exaggeration) I see a new shirt in his closet. Oh and the days I don't see a new shirt in his closet, I find a dry cleaners receipt on his desk. I was just wondering what you all thought...we are not rolling in money here in VT, we rent our house, and the wife is dressing in pants that are too short...when should JM Fuller call it a rest with the good deals. Oh and because I know someone will say it...occasionally he does find something for someone, and that would be great if he could resist yet another shirt for himself.

Little Michael like Big Michael

Michael was just playing around when he pulled back to punch Jeff and punched a metal chair instead. He did not see the chair because a shirt was hanging over the back of it. We had to ice his hand with frozen peas. While we were calming him down, I told him the story of Big Mike breaking his hand while trying to punch Uncle J J. This story brought a smile to his face and calmed him down. Oh the fun that is ahead us.

Those Girls...

MMMmm...chocolate covered strawberries. Michaela is enjoying watching Jaye enjoy her strawberry. Those girls are hilarious. They squabble like a couple of old bitties. Jason would have had a fit watching Jaye eat her strawberries...I can't wait until he has kids of his own, some sweet day. (Oh and no Ben and Jerry's comment Jason or Kelly.)

Easter Fun

Well it snowed hard this Easter morning, but the sun was bright this afternoon, helping things to feel a little more like Easter. The kids enjoyed getting all dressed up today, well Jaye did. She loves to spin in her pretty Easter dress. Michael stripped down to his white tee as soon as possible...he is a comfort man. We enjoyed a nice Easter with family. The kids had an Easter egg hunt this afternoon at home. Michael requested that we actually hide the eggs, so we did. The kids were hilarious looking around for them...that video will hopefully be made available for the public soon. :) Jeff was the master egg hider and video man, and admitted that the hunt was a lot of fun. Oh, and this Easter egg hunt was complete with those fabulous paper coupons...Jason and Big Mike know what I am talking about. Jaye made out with $6.00 and Michael scored with two smoothies. They loved it...I loved it because it brought back great memories. I hope you all had a great Easter.

Discouraging

It is April...and it is cold, windy, and snowy. This weather has me down in the dumps. I want to have this awesome party for Michael who turns 5 next week, but this snow is putting a big damper on the party plans. I think I will just celebrate his party in July...we should have nice weather by then. Jeff says God probably got mad at all the global warming talk, so he is making it snow for the next few months...well I NEVER BELIEVED THAT GLOBAL WARMING JUNK...so come on.

The Michael Fuller's

What a good looking pair. They are so funny together...talking about girls. Michael is always asking Grompa why girls always tell boys what to do. Grompa plays right into it and they keep the conversation going. The other day Michael told Grompa it would be better if girls woke up at night time and slept during the day. They get a good laugh out of each other, it is pretty funny stuff...if you are a boy.

Easter Fun

we dyed Easter eggs the other night. The kids loved it, especially shaking them in the glitter packet. Michael took it quite seriously, while Jaye just splashed and shook them up. They are so funny and so different.

Naughty Girl

This little girl, although cute and silly, has been rotten at school this week. She has been put in time out three times in just three days. She has pinched her teacher, scratched a friends face, and been very defiant. Now I am big enough to admit, I was a very mouthy child, but come on...Jaye is three years old. She thinks she is funny when we talk to her about her day. We stay calm and explain to her that she must listen to her teachers, but she seems to be on her own agenda. It honestly makes me want to take Jaye out of school. Sometimes I think she shouldn't have to act so old, she is only 3, but then I think, maybe she will just figure her boundries out and get over it. All I know is that I love her dearly, she is beautiful, smart, funny, sweet (when she wants to be), and she is my baby girl. I wouldn't trade her for the best behaved kid in the world...she is strong, confidant, and pretty stinking funny. I love her.
