Soggy Tent

Well we are planning on camping this weekend. The forecast for Saturday is Thunderstorms... and for Sunday, scattered showers. Sounds like a great time, eh? Anyhow, this is our weekend on Lake Champlain where the kids enjoy fishing and we enjoy being on the water, so hopefully the rain will hold off, although that sounds doubtful. :(

Around the World

That was the theme from Michael's kindergarten program tonight. His class represented the drummers from Japan. He did such a good job!

Yes cute, but a bit sassy...

Jaye had a whiny weekend...I do not enjoy those. We had our fair share of fun, but we also had our moments of all whine and no reasoning. Those moments were less than enjoyable. Hopefully we get this behind us before MI...although according to Uncle J J, Jaye just needs more stimulation, so I will be happy when he can give that to her.

Go Tigers!

This tiger was actually this close to my face...thank goodness there was some good solid glass between him and I. Anyways this picture has nothing to do with what I want to blog about.

7 years ago right now, Jeff was putting an engagement ring on my finger outside of Cracker Barrel. It was quite the time in all of our lives. It is so hard to believe that 7 years have gone by. There have been so many wonderful additions to our lives...Michael and Jaye lead the list off for Jeff and I. Kelly and Jason's marriage was a definite highlight, I mean the fact that it was in Hawaii helped out a bit.

When we think back to all the wonderful things that have happend in our lives our first thought should be to give God the praise. I do thank him for my friends and family, they are wonderful. I thank him even more for their good health and safety. I am also pleased that even though 12 hours separate me from my loved ones Jeff and I have been able to go once, twice, and sometimes even three times to Michigan to see them.

Well I would like to leave you with this. If you are still reading this post, which is longer than usual for me, I obviously love and care for you in some respect, so I would just like you to know that I thank God for you, and your impact on my life.

Thank YOU and have an awesome week.

We have a Jaye down...

Jaye is hilarious riding her bike around. Michael loves having the responsibility of watching over her when they ride off. When Jeff and I are walking hand in hand, watching the kids ride their bikes the problems of the day fade away.
