Michigan here we come...

I can feel myself getting a little nervous this week...with packing, planning, and traveling. Michael and Jaye travel very well, even without a portable DVD player, but it takes work to think ahead to that point when you are still 150 km until Kingston...or Toronto...or London, and the kids are bored or hungry. And on top of our usual travels we will be traveling to N. Michigan, to spend a week at a lakefront cabin with my brother, Jason and his wonderful wife, Kelly. The kids are beyond thrilled to be going. I asked Jaye this morning if she was excited to see Aunt Kelly, to which she replied, "I am more than excited to see Aunt Kelly." Michael is even excited to be dunked in the lake by Uncle J J. I miss my family...and am very happy to be given the chance yearly to come home.

Day Two on Lake Champlain...

Buddy and Jaye searching for shells at the campground beach.

Michael and Jaye enjoying their cousins, Tyler, Jared, and Katelyn

We went for a boat ride on rough water...fun stuff.

...was warm, but a little rainy. The moments without rain, were nice, and we enjoyed catching some fish. No keepers. :(
